What a school spends on its athletes

Dollars per athlete, the aid, the roster spots, football's share, the sports that came and went, the price beside the spend — and who comes to watch.

Bars are the department's total expense divided by its unduplicated athletes, from each school's latest EADA filing. The men's and women's figures on the card count only money the school allocates to a sport, so they sum to less than the department. Spend is not quality — read it beside the aid and the crowds.
